It is a series of events that begin through torn cases of headlines. In that series, these are the heroes who have not stopped fighting in any way. There are situations that force them to balance public opinion, integrated power struggles, their unwavering passion for the law and other things that put them in a real challenge.
Chicago Justice has all the pieces in place to become another stellar installment in NBC's Chicago franchise, and the series' time slot debut is a solid showcase for newcomers as well as Chicago fans.
This new Chi-Town show, however, does something different: It completes a circle, bringing us back to Wolf's original concept. Chicago Justice is just Law & Order in a windbreaker.
For those who retain a fondness for the original Law, the real tragedy is not that Justice is an insult to that Emmy-winning show's memory; it's that it makes you question that memory.
