This TV series has returned for its sixth season, which shows Andy having the job he has always dreamed of. The recall vote of Leslie is being done by the City Council. Ron is slowly adapting the new rules he has set for his home. Ann and Chris’s baby is about to be born.
It's great to see Leslie hang on in NBC's Thursday night comedy lineup, just as she's risen through the ranks of Pawnee city government. Nice girls, it seems, can overcome their irritating reputations if they work hard enough and long enough.
While I loved the Nadia/Tom and Leslie/Donna plots a lot, I think that Ron and Ben's stab at plotting Ron's post-death plans was the standout of the episode.
"London" is simply magnificent, and if this is what the show can still live up to six seasons in (the point at which The Office, in comparison, was careening off a creative cliff), I could not be more excited for whatever the show has in store for us.
